Born in Victoria and raised amidst the waters surrounding the Discovery Islands, Marty’s lifelong connection to the ocean began during his boyhood years. As a young lad, he lived and fished aboard his family’s commercial bottom fishing boat, an experience that ignited his passion for the sea.
